Broadcast heart rate intermittently stops working. While cycling I broadcast heart rate from my Fenix 6X Pro to my Edge 1040. On my last two rides the Edge would randomly stop displaying the value despite the watch typically still showing that it was broadcasting. Sometimes I can fix it by waiting a little bit and then restarting the broadcast
My Fenix 6S Pro does not get updated to the latest firmware using Garmin Connect. I got a new phone, but I re-paired with the new device and it is syncing my activities to Garmin Connect, so I guess there is communication between my watch and the app. "Software Update" is turned on my watch (System --> Software Update), but updates are not
The running mode and the generic mode seem to work well though. I tried recording my last ski touring outing with the running mode, and then not selecting any sport, and got normal results (140 to 160) both times. It’s as if for hiking and ascension, the software does not sample the HR often enough, or has a setting that screws the HR reading.

Cannot connect HRM Tri / HRM Run. I owned both HRM Tri & Run while checking the connection I noticed that they are just not connected to the watch. I tried to remove my sensors from the list and adding them again .. no luck the watch is not detecting the HRMs (did try with both the HRM Tri & Run). I tested those HRMs with my Garmin Edge
Just received my Fenix 6 (in France). But HR sensor doesn't activate itself (or just when watch is switching on, few seconds of green LEDs). But as opposed to other watch (I have the 235), any movement doesn't activate the LEDs. Upgraded 10.10 & Hub 7.11 and checked all parameters (HR auto etc., but it doesn't help.
Garmin gave me a consolation prize of 20% off a new model. I went with the Garmin Tactix Delta which is basically a Garmin Fenix 6 with additional bells and whistles. I also use a Garmin Inreach mini. On to the HR. The HR on Garmin has always been pretty poor, but I bought into the excuse Garmin always had that it was a limitation of the tech.
Heart rate broadcast. I just buy a TACX Neo 2T and want to use my Fenix 6 Sapphire to broadcast the Heart Rate to the app (Zwift or TACX), but: - If I broadcast the HR it stuck at the first value the optical sensor read. - If I use virtual run to broadcast HR it doesn't display the heart rate (only - - is visible on the watch).
Intesity minutes are suddenly not recorded anymore. While I still 'score' intensity minutes for normal walking, even without HRM (!), i didnt get any for my hard cycle, long run, interval runs or stairs. 2 weeks ago it was still working OK. Many people seem to be reporting this in the last few months. Hope Garmin will come with a solution soom.
