Since then I have done 330 km. Average measured fuel consumption is 5.2 L/100km, which is a nice improvement over ~6.0 L/100km before that. Interestingly, this is the first time I noticed that the measured fuel consumption is less than what the car shows on its display (it was showing 5.4 L/100km).

we are currently considering replacing our faithful 2006 1.8 petrol civic - and the mileage on it is 308k kilometres. With this kind of mileage, on the face of it, the diesel would make sense - especially as in Denmark diesel fuel itself is still cheaper than petrol. But I am a bit worried about possible dpf problems.
