The OP seemed to prioritize high-ISO noise. The 5D3 is not the best choice for that; the 6D, 6D2, 5D4, 1Dx and 1Dx2 are all better. Even the 7D2 has less high-ISO noise than a 1.6x crop from the 5D3. Those are probably the most important changes from the 6D to the 6D Mark II for day-to-day use that will make a significant difference in the shooting experience, but that’s not all. The high burst rate has jumped 2 fps, from 4.5 to 6.5 and that will make a noticeable difference for action shots. The newer WIFI should be an improvement on the Compared Recommendations.
